Olaf Janke - Chief Financial Officer
Olaf joined Fairway America in late 2009 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing 19 years of finance experience including senior roles at corporations such as Treasurer at Communicant Semiconductor Technologies AG and acting VP of Finance at The Industry Standard. There, he was instrumental in building the treasury and strategic planning function in addition to implementing a broad range of finance and accounting procedures.
Most of his career was spent in investment and commercial banking in the US and Europe, having worked for JPMorgan Cazenove, Commerzbank, GE Capital, CSFB and Deutsche Bank. In these functions, Olaf executed a broad range of capital raising and M&A transactions. Olaf received an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
Olaf lives with his wife and two children in Portland. In his free time he enjoys biking, skiing, walking with his Labrador and experiencing Portland’s bubbling culinary culture.
