Matt graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1986 with a BA in Economics. After six years working for other banks, thrifts and finance companies, he moved from California to Oregon in 1991 and founded Fairway Commercial Mortgage in 1992. He has led Fairway America in becoming Portland’s leading private money commercial mortgage lender by providing outstanding value to its mortgage brokers, borrowers, and investors.
Matt lives with his wife and two sons in Lake Oswego, OR and enjoys reading, cycling, golf, yoga and spending time with his family. He is the 2006-2007 President of the Portland OR chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), the world’s most influential community of entrepreneurs.
